World Book Day - Thursday 4th March 2021

Happy Week 2 Oak!!

Happy Monday Everyone!!

I hope you had a lovely weekend and are looking forward to going back to school next Monday!

I will continue to send you a daily message on Dojo (on the class story) to keep in touch and let you know what we will be doing each day so any questions you have, please message me on there throughout the day. I will also include in the message which two pieces of work I would like you to send me each day.

We will be having our three zoom sessions a week which will be so lovely to see you all again this week!

I have included the information for the zoom sessions below:

Monday 10:30am - Registration zoom (recurring meeting ID and passcode)

Tuesday (times will be shared in a message weekly) - Wellbeing zoom

Wednesday 2:30pm - Q and A / Story time zoom (recurring meeting ID and passcode)

You will also have your usual Friday assembly zoom with Mr Smith.

Our Topic this term is Extreme Survival, which is another of my most favourite Topics to teach! We will be looking at the adaptation and evolution and the survival of animals in a range of climates!

Your work will be set in the stars below including all the teaching slides and activity resources. Each day there will be Maths activities set as Maths or Maths Group 2. Complete the Maths activity unless you have been told to complete Maths Group 2. If you are unsure of anything on any of the activities throughout the week, please message me on Dojo.

Please send through two pieces of work that I have asked for in your daily message on Dojo on your portfolio on Dojo, rather than through a message.

This Thursday it is World Book Day! On Thursday, you will be completing activities linked to World Book Day but you will also be taking part in World Book Day activities when you are back to school.

Make sure you check the dates above the stars to check you are completing the correct work.

Any questions, please message me on Dojo.

Have a brilliant week and I look forward to seeing you all in our zooms throughout the week!
