Friday 22nd January

Good morning Hazel and Holly class,

I hope you had a fun day yesterday with our police topic and managed to make a police vehicle.

Today in phonics we are looking at the sounds we have learnt so far and match them to the correct pictures. In maths, we will continue with the number 7 and a maths challenge. There is a lovely video to watch about Geko meets the police to link with our police topic. We also have another Friday creative challenge that you can work on over the weekend worth 15 Dojos.  I would like you to paint or draw your own winter scene inspired by Monet.

(A) Watch the PowerPoint and see some of Monet's winter impressionist paintings. Afterwards see if you can make a lovely snowy winter picture inspired by Claude Monet's works.  You have all weekend to make your masterpiece and I will award 15 Dojos for your artwork.

Each day we will continue to follow the school timetable including activities in Maths, English, Creative, and Physical for you to complete. Plus some optional fun additional activities.

Please note from now on the activities with (N2) in front of them are for the children going to Reception. These activities will extend their previous learning and are adapted for their age and stage of development.  (N1) activities will be for the new children who will be staying in Nursery for another year. If there is an (A) against the activity this will be for all children to learn and enjoy.

Please send pictures of the work you have completed via the Dojo portfolio and I can award Dojos for this. Please message me if you have any questions.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend.
