Good morning Hazel and Holly class,
I hope you had a creative day yesterday expressing yourself and drawing to Vivaldi's Four Seasons Concerto. I have already seen some of your amazing creations, please keep sending them in and you will be awarded 15 Dojos. Thank you.
Today we will continue our spring-theme, linked to all the areas of learning. Watch the Spring Baby Animals PowerPoint, can you guess the baby animal and name it correctly. Then play the animal sound game on Phonics Play to promote the discussion of different sounds, which is part of your child's early phonics listening and the ability to distinguish different sounds. Today, in maths can you watch the Numberblocks Stampoline episode to consolidate our learning of subitising, showing how the number blocks make different patterns but are still the same amount. Then have a go at the spring counting sheet, see if you can subitise some of the items. In phonics, complete the Spring-Themed Phase 2 Initial Sounds Say the word. Please keep practising your cursive writing of your name and the sounds we have already learnt. For our creative activity, can you cut out and make a spiral daffodil. I have also added some fun P.E. fitness challenge cards below for you to try and have a go with your family.
