I hope you had a creative day yesterday making your birds out of recycling materials. I have already had some lovely photos of your amazing birds, thank you.
Today we will continue to have lots of activities linking to birds and our Big Garden Birdwatch this weekend between the 29-31 January. If you can take out 1 hour of your time and make it a fun family activity, recording all the different birds in your garden on the sheets provided under Topic below. Have Fun.

Physical Education - PE with Joe Wicks - 0900 Optional
(A)To access this go to P.E with Joe Wicks on YouTube. Alternatively, you can do Andys Adventures on You-Tube. It is important to do at least 30 minutes of exercise every day.
(A) Please can you work through the PowerPoint and find the words that match the initial sounds.
(A) Play the phonics pop game, try set 1 and set 2, you will know some of the sounds. You need to click on the correct sound and letter and pop the balloon, press the ear to hear the sound again. Have fun.

(A) Try the I Spy count the bird's activity and count the birds you see, getting you ready for the birdwatch over the weekend.

(A) Please watch the recorded video of 'The Messy Magpie' to link with our bird topic. Afterwards, go through the story again pausing on each page and see if you can spot the rhyming words on each page.

(A) Watch the lovely PowerPoint about British Birds and see what types of birds you might find in your area. I have added the RSPB big garden birdwatch sheets for you to record your bird count below. Use the under 5 counting sheet for your child to record the birds when they are watching outside.

Each day we will continue to follow the school timetable including activities in Maths, English, Creative, and Physical for you to complete. Plus some optional fun additional activities.
Please note from now on the activities with (N2) in front of them are for the children going to Reception. These activities will extend their previous learning and are adapted for their age and stage of development. (N1) activities will be for the new children who will be staying in Nursery for another year. If there is an (A) against the activity this will be for all children to learn and enjoy.
