HAPPY FRIDAY! 

Well done everyone, you have made it through your second week of online learning! 

You are all doing such an amazing job with the work and I know it's not the same as being in school but hopefully the zooms are making up for that a little bit.

 

I have included your activities for today below. Today you will be doing a morning starter, English, Spellings, PSHE, Music, PE and French. I have also  included additional activities at the bottom of the page for you to complete if you have any extra time. 

 

If you have any questions about the activities please message me on Dojo. If you are doing any other activities at home, please send those through too!

Spelling

I have set you a spelling quiz on Purple mash for you to complete. It is the same quiz you would normally do for homework. 

If you have not been set any spellings please complete activities on Wordshark. Those of you who will be completing activities on Wordshark, I have sent your logins through to you via Dojo. 

French 

Hi Year 6,

 

Today we are revising how to say, “What is your name?” and how to answer it in French.

Please work through the PowerPoint, click on the sound buttons and listen to the French pronunciation, you may need to this a few times. Practise aloud asking and replying to the question using your best French accent!

 

Each file is quite big so I have separated them into a few.

Starter - Fitness Progression Activity 

You have 45 or 30 seconds (you can decide) to see how many burpees you can do in this time. Record the amount so next week you can see if you beat your score. 

Try either 45 or 30 seconds or both to see how much difference the time makes 

 

Pyramid Workout 

The way the Pyramid workout works is you will complete a number of different exercises. You will follow the        5 - 10 - 20 - 10 - 5 system which tells you how many of each exercise you should do. I have included the exercises you will need to complete below. You will need to alternate these exercises using the pyramid workout, for example 5 Kangaroo jumps, 5 Shoulder taps, 10 Kangaroo jumps, 10 Shoulder taps, 20 Kangaroo jumps, 20 Shoulder taps, 10 Kangaroo jumps and so on.

Purple Mash 

I have set a story on Purple Mash for you to read a chapter a day and complete the quiz that goes with the chapter. As this book is 7 chapters, this book will continue in to next week. 

 

Mathletics 

I have set daily activities on Mathletics for you. Throughout the week you have been set five activities but you only need to complete one per day.
