This popular local school is seeking a Chair of Governors to serve a 4-year term from October 2026. You do not need an educational background to apply but skills and experiences that can be transferable from another profession into the role of Chair of Governors.

Warrender’s recent Ofsted review in January 2026 was incredibly strong and something that staff, governors and senior leaders are incredibly proud of. A strong standard was achieved across all 8 categories of the new Ofsted Framework. Therefore, the new Chair of Governors needs to have the ability to ensure that the governing body continues to provide the support and challenge to the senior leadership team to continue exceptional growth whilst leading the board with credibility.
