Thursday

Good morning Hornbeam,

We are almost at the end of our home learning and I cannot wait to see you back in school next week! Remember to join today's Zoom call at 10 for our goodbye and World Book Day quiz. Bring a pen/pencil and paper to the session.

Today is World Book Day! Therefore, the activities I have set for today are mostly based on that.

Morning Starters- World Book Day Wordsearch and bingo. How many can you get?

English-Mrs Close from Willow class is reading you a story today, so find somewhere comfortable and enjoy. I have also set you the task of redesigning the book cover of our new class reader- I was there, Boudica's Army.

From the little bit we know so far about the story and what you think might happen, how would you design the cover?

Maths- today there are 2 world book day activities to choose from. If you would prefer I have also set some tasks on Mathletics.

PE- Can you complete the challenges set? What level will you achieve?

French- Mrs Betson has written the instruction on the PowerPoint explaining what she would like you to do for today's lesson.

I have also included David Walliam's assembly in case you missed it on Tuesday. Make sure you spend some time enjoying your favourite book.
