1 Work through the PowerPoint on commas then complete the fix the commas activity.

2.  Our book on Purple Mash this week is Ollie and the Great Stink which is set in the Victorian Times. Read chapter 2 and complete the online quiz and activity on classroom rules.

Complete the following EMOM (Every minute on the minute) challenge.

 

Warm up:

  • Option 1 - Jog on the spot for 2 minutes to warm up.
  • Option 2 – Play Simon Says with someone in your house, ‘Simon Says…
    • Perform a 3 point balance, 2 point balance, jumping air squat, v-sit, touch toes, jump as high as possible, spring on the spot, high knees, freeze.
  • Then complete dynamic stretches that I have shown you in PE lessons.

 

Challenge 1: Perform each exercise for 30 seconds then move straight into the next without a break;

 

  • Abdominal strength position
  • Arch hold
  • Bridge
  • Tiptoe balance
  • Inch worms

 

NOW REPEAT 3 TIMES.

 

Challenge 2: Record how many rounds you can complete in 15 minutes. You must complete 5 reps in each exercise before moving onto the next;

 

Exercise 1 -   5 Sit ups

Exercise 2 – 5 Floor Thrusters

Exercise 3 -  5 Mountain climbers

Exercise 4 – 5 Star Jumps

Exercise 5 – Object move plank (move the object 5 times)
