Happy Tuesday Holly and Hazel Class,
Today we will be continuing with our spring topic looking at the signs of spring in our environment have a go at some of the spring challenges. In literacy listen to the story of 'Spring Has Come' and answer the five questions afterwards testing your memory and recall. In maths today, I would like you to play the interactive nature subitising PowerPoint to help your children practise recognising quantities and arrangements of up to 5 items in a fast-paced activity. Afterwards play the Ladybird Spot game on TopMarks to re-enforce recoginsing quantites. Our creative activity today is to make a your own daily weather chart.
Each day we will continue to follow the school timetable including activities in Maths, English, Creative, and Physical for you to complete. Plus some optional fun additional activities.
Can you all have a go at the Londons Youth Games Challenges week 5, How many plank shoulder taps can you complete in 30 seconds? Please see the demonstration on the school story Monday 22nd February. It does not matter how many you do, it is about the more who participate in these events. Please represent and support Warrender School and Hillingdon Borough. Thank you.

(A) Today can you take part in P.E with Joe Wicks, he will be live from 9.00 am every day on YouTube. Alternatively, you can try the Peppa Pig Challenges or P.E Challenges try to do at least three of the challenges a day. Try different one's throughout the week. Links are on the 'P.E. Star' on daily star pages. We will do some form of exercise each day as it is important to get some form of exercise and is all so great for our well-being.

(A) Play the squirrel PowerPoint don't forget to press slide show and then click from the beginning to make it an interactive game for your child.
(N2) Play the Ladybird spot game and see if you can subitise the spots to re-enforce practising recognising quantities without counting them. Afterwards have a go and challenge yourself and try up to 10.
(N1) Watch Numberblocks video counting 1 to 5.

Please note from now activities with (N2) in front of them are for the children going to Reception. These activities will extend their previous learning and are adapted for their age and stage of development. (N1) activities will be for the new children who will be staying in Nursery for another year. If there is an (A) against the activity means this will be for all the children to learn and enjoy.
