The 2 pieces of work you need to submit today are:

 

1 - English - Send in your scores for the grammar questions (on the PowerPoint) and let us know any areas of grammar you would like us to cover when we are back in school.

 

2 - Maths - Let us know how you got on with the maths questions. Remember just do as many as you can. 

English - 

 

1 - Work through the PowerPoint below on punctuation and grammar questions, you will need a pen and piece of paper. There is an introduction from Mrs Close on slide 1. Make sure you send in your scores and let us know any areas you would like to recap when we are back in school.  

 

2.  Please continue with your reading activities on Bedrock. 

 

 

Maths -  Group 1 & Group 2

 

 1 - Answer as many maths questions as you can using the word document below. There are 22 questions all together. You DO NOT need to print them out. You will also find the answers below too for you to tick & fix your work. All questions are based on multiplication and division. Please let us know how you get on. 

 

 

PE:

Have you improved since week 3?

 

Warm up:

 

Play this game with someone in your house. Crab & Scorpion. Move into the position when someone shouts;

 

  • Scorpion – On all fours facing down
  • Crab – On all fours facing up

 

When someone shouts the word HEATWAVE you must lie on your backs waving legs and arms in the air until the next command is called.

 

  • Then complete dynamic stretches that I have shown you in PE lessons.

 

Challenge 1:

 

Complete the super sets 4 times through – Super sets should be completed for quality and not as quickly as possible. Super sets are a form of strength training!

 

 

Superset 1:

  • Jab cross knee x 10
  • Turkish get ups x5 (can you use an object as a weight)

 

Superset 2:

  • Plank jack x 10
  • Side lunge (cossack lunge) x 10 (alternative sides)

 

Superset 3:

  • Man on fire x 10
  • Ice skaters x 10 (each side)

 

Additional challenge when completed –

 

How many floor thrusters can you do in 1 minute?
