At Warrender, children begin their learning journey for writing by learning the letter formation sounds linked to Read, Write Inc. Once children have established the correct letter formation, they will move onto learning to join different letters through our bespoke handwriting scheme.   The following letters are not joined to any others: q,x, and z. We also do teach the children not to lead into the letters!
