House Captains

Our school Houses have gained names to go with the existing colours.  The School Council have decided that the Houses should be named after planets.  Planets have been chosen as it is believed they can help inspire everyone at school.  Their names also link to Roman and Greek history, music, science and much more!

Each year, the children in the house vote for their new captains after listening to different presentations by the Year 6 children. 

This year, our captains are:

• Mars (red) House – George, Maya and Tommy
• Venus (yellow) House – Ariyan, Poppy and Meera
• Neptune (blue) House - Keyan, Siena and Emily

• All our children work hard to gain house points in different ways- interhouse competitions, class competitions, P.E. lessons are just to name a few. All our behaviour points linked on dojo feed into the half termly house totals and winning houses receive a reward for their collaborative approach. 

House captains plan and host one house party for their team over an academic year!

They are a brilliant asset to our school!
