Friday 12th

Friday 12th February 2021

Good Morning,

I can't believe that we have got to the end of this half term. I have been so impressed by the work that you have done from your creative writing to your maths to your science experiments to your artwork. I know you have all tried really hard and deserve a halt term break.

After half term, we will be starting a new topic 'Healthy Henry' where we will be finding out about Henry VIII and the rest of the Tudors.

Today, you need to finish off your instructions and upload them. I am really looking forward to reading them all. You have a spellings test to do. Plus a little bit more work on equivalent fractions. As we have been creating our own dragons and it is the Chinese New Year our art and PSHE is linked to that.

There are also the last few chapters of 'How to Train Your Dragon' to listen to.

Have a great half term,

Take care and stay safe

Today, if you haven't already finished your set of instructions then please do. Have a look at the checklist to see if you have added everything you should have. When you have finished, please upload it to dojo.

PSHE/Art

It is the Chinese New Year and this year is the Year of the Ox. As part of their celebrations, they do dragon dances and as we have been writing instructions linked to your dragons, let's do some art activities linked to Chinese dragons. Watch the video clip which will explain more and tell you what the dragon represents in Chinese culture. Below are some ideas and templates that you could do. Remember if you can't print them off you can use them to give you ideas of how to make them. Have fun!

Story

The last few chapters of 'How to Train Your Dragon'. I hope that you have enjoyed the story and we will be starting a new book after half term.laughMake sure you watch them in the correct order.
