We come to the end of another week. I have been so impressed with the diary entries which have already been sent to me. If you haven't sent yours yet, please do.

 

Today, in English you have a word challenge, whilst in maths you are still working on multiplication.

In topic, you are going to find out all about Sutton Hoo and its treasures. Plus it's the last part of 26-Storey Treehouse.

Rule - you can use the letter as many times as you want.

Rule - if you use a dictionary and it's a new word you don't know you have to remember what it means.

Topic - History/Art - Sutton Hoo

Today, you are going to learn about the Anglo-Saxon burial site at Sutton Hoo. Look at and listen to the PowerPoints.

There are also a few links to the British Museum where you can take a virtual tour looking at all the treasures of Sutton Hoo, listen to a curator tell you all about the sword found there and get close up images of the helmet.

You can choose to try and recreate an Anglo-Saxon Helmet, the template and instructions are below.

OR you can colour in a picture of the Sutton Hoo helmet.
