Can you make a cosy reading den ready for your storytime? 

Assembly: 
Mr Smith will be hosting a virtual whole school assembly at 1:00pm today, please find the zoom link on the Dojo whole school story, if you would like to join. Please remember to not have your camera on, so Mr Smith can record this and post for the children who cannot attend. 

PSHE:
This term, our new PSHE topic is Dreams and Goals.

Today we are focusing on the story Giraffes Can't Dance

Other animals made Gerald feel that he was not very good at dancing. Was that a kind thing to do? Why not? What encouraging words could you say to Gerald? What are you not very good at? What would you like to improve at? 

Please find a reflection sheet attached below. You can draw a picture of something you are not very good at, something you would like to get better at, something your friend(s) are good at and something you have got better at this year. Share your picture with your teacher. As a challenge, you could write sentences or words on the back linked to what you have drawn.

Please see our Phonics section on our class page. Can you practice your pre cursive writing? Be sure to say each formation rhyme as you write each letter. You could practice your pre cursive using colourful pens or with a paintbrush in sand or sugar or even glitter! Make sure to send a picture to your teacher.
