Literacy:

Recap the story, Aliens Love Underpants. What happened? What was your favourite part? If you could change something about the story, what would it be?

Today you are going to be writing about the last three pictures of the story. Please remember to use your capital letters at the beginning of your sentence, finger spaces in between and full-stops at the end. Send a picture of your completed sheet. 

 

As an extra challenge, you can write a book review about Aliens Love Underpants. What did you like about the story? What did you not like? There is a sheet to guide you attached below.

Please can you draw a picture from your favourite part of the Aliens Love Underpants story? Please include as much detail as you can and think carefully about the colours you can use. Make sure to save the picture on Purple Mash, so your teachers can comment and award Dojos.

Last week, we spoke about how feelings towards moving to Year 1. Some said they felt scared or nervous, others felt excited and happy about the new information that they will learn! 

Please find attached a transition booklet all about moving to Year 1. You do not need to print it, you could do each activity on a plain piece of paper, if that is easier.

 

As an extra challenge, have a look at this skills list.


Is there anything that you would like to achieve today? For example, using a knife and fork or getting changed independently or taking turns when playing a game. 

 

Creative:

Can you help a grown up to make some yummy breakfast, lunch or dinner today? Can you make your food look like an amazing alien? Miss O’Shea and Mrs Morris would love to see your creations!

Investigation: 

Look at this special letter we received from an Alien! You can use sheet below to sort out which objects are magnetic or you can go on a hunt around the house to find which objects the alien would like to stick to their spaceship!
