The INTENT of our history curriculum is to ensure all children ASPIRE to gain a coherent knowledge and understanding of Britain’s past and that of the wider world.
It is our aim in history that all children:
ACHIEVE the ability to ask perceptive questions and develop perspective and judgement.
RESPECT the diversity of societies and relationships between different groups.
Have PRIDE in their own identity.
ENJOY their learning and leave a lesson wanting to know more.
INSPIRE pupil’s curiosity to know more about the past.
