I hope that you had a great weekend. No snow this time.

This week is Mental Health Week and Miss O'Shea has added lots of activities and ideas for you to do on our Mental Wellbeing tab.

Today you are going to do a comprehension all about dragons and why they would make good pets. In maths, you are starting a new topic all about fractions. You also have a science investigation to try and you are going to find out more about the Vikings.

Plus the next instalment of How to Train Your Dragon.

You also have spellings to learn for the end of the week. Please remember which group you are in from class.

Read and listen to Why Do Dragons Make Great Pets? and then answer the questions linked to the text. The questions and answers are at the end of the PowerPoint or you can print off the worksheet to use.

Spellings

Practise your spellings for your spelling test this Friday 5th.

Maths

Today you start a new topic on fractions. Watch the video and answer the questions as you go along. Group 2 do at least to question 4.

You are going to do an investigation today looking at how sound travels through different materials. Watch and listen to the PowerPoint and either use the worksheet or draw a table in your book to records what you discover. Please then upload it to your portfolio. If you take any photos, I would love to see them too.
