It was lovely to see so many of you at the story time zoom yesterday. I wonder how Lucy is going to get home.

Today, you have your spellings to do and the countdown word game challenge to have a go at. In maths, you will be completing the fraction pyramid sheet and then have some games to play. You need to come up with a design for your Tudor shield to use in school. Plus the next chapter of our class book.

Remember there might be tasks on Purple Mash and Mathletics for you to complete too.

English - 'House of Tudor' Countdown 

Today you are going to do the countdown word game like we do in class. Using the words 'House of Tudor', how many words can you make from the letters? Remember you can use the letters as many times as you want. Find at least 20 words!

Spellings

Listen to and write down your spellings. You can use the dictation worksheet if you want  and the answers are in that pdf as well. 

Maths - +/- fractions

A sheet for you to do and some games to play today.

Choose either the 1 star or 2 star sheet to do.

Add the fractions next to each other to complete the pyramid. On the fruit splat - only try the first few levels.

Topic- Art - Tudor Shield

Today you are going to come up with a design for your own Tudor/Heraldic (family) shield. Watch the video to find out more the PowerPoint is below for you to look at again too. 

You can use the worksheet to record it on.

Keep the design safe so that when you are back on in school you can create your shields.
