The Warrender School PTA are here to help the school and our children by raising money to fund additional resources outside the school budget. We do this by organising various events throughout the academic year such as discos, Christmas and summer fairs, movie nights, quiz nights for parents, and cake sales etc. We rely on parents/carers who are part of the committee for their support to organise and deliver these events, and on all of you to come along, take part and enjoy yourselves.
At the AGM on Tuesday 11th October 2022, the following committee members were appointed for a period of one year:
Sheetal Padania and Dipa Galaiya - Co-Chairpersons
Julie Sheehan - Vice Chairperson
Emma Ponnaganti - Secretary
Robert Rowland and Gemini Gohil-Al Sheikh - Co-Treasurers
We are supported by a wonderful committee who spend a lot of time on our fundraising events through the year. We’re always looking to grow the team so if you’d like to join us, please email friendsofwarrender@gmail.com
If you can’t but would like to be involved on an ad hoc basis by helping at some of our events, drop us a line. All help is much appreciated and goes a long way to make our events a success.
We will send notifications on Parent Pay and in book bags in the run up to our
events and they’re also publicised on the school calendar. If you have any ideas about fundraising activities, then please contact us. We'd love to hear new ideas.
