Good morning,
We hope that you and your families had a wonderful well-deserved half term break and managed to have lots of fun.
Today we are starting our new topic which is called Stomp Stomp Stomp Dinosaurs! Below you will find our activities for Monday and your phonics videos under the 'daily phonics' star.
Please message us if you have any questions. We also look forward to seeing you on our Monday zoom call this morning, please find the zoom code via Dojo.
Enjoy your day,
Miss O'Shea and Mrs Morris
Writing Task:
Today we will be guessing or predicting what dinosaur we think left their egg in Mrs Morris's garden over the weekend. Please watch and listen to Mrs Morris's video 'Writing Activity - Egg Prediction' to see the picture of the dinosaur egg and what dinosaur Mrs Morris thought it might be. Do you think it can fly? Do you think it has a long neck? Do you think it is a herbivore or carnivore? Remember to use your sounds when writing your prediction, these words do not need to be spelt completely correctly. For example, I think it is a Stegowsorus egg. I think it is a Velosraptor egg. I think it is a Trighseraptops egg.
Also you can listen to Mrs Morris reading the story "Am I Yours?' about a little egg who gets lost and tries to find his/her Mummy and Daddy.
Phonics:
Watch the virtual Phonics lessons by Mrs Morris and Miss O'Shea. Please send your teacher any writing that you do in your Phonics lesson. These lessons can be found on the 'daily phonics' star on the previous page.

Can you make your very own dinosaur? If you do not have paper plates, you could use other resources such as cardboard or you could paint a picture of your favourite dinosaur.
PE:
Watch and join in with the Jurassic Chase PE Game. Can you follow the actions on the screen to avoid the dinosaurs? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Uuq6Bky0Dc
