Good Morning,

Today you will start to find out about the Tudors, who they were and when they ruled England. In maths, you will be adding fractions. You have the chance to create your own Tudor Rose and we will be starting a new story set in Tudor times - Diver's Daughter: A Tudor Story which I hope you will enjoy.

Please upload your English and Art today.

There are activities for you to do on Purple Mash and Mathletics plus you can also log on to Bedrock Learning to carry on with your tasks.

A couple of songs from Horrible Histories - Terrible Tudors to introduce you to Henry VIII.

Topic - Art - Tudor Rose

When Henry VII became king and married Elizabeth of York, he united the House of Lancaster (red rose) and the House of York (white rose) and created the Tudor Rose. Choose either to make a 3D Tudor Rose (sorry I don't have the templates), draw your own version or use the colouring page.

Additional Activities 

Purple Mash

I have set a story on Purple Mash for you to read a chapter a day and complete the quiz that goes with the chapter.

Bedrock 

If you haven't already, complete the first assessment so you can then be set reading activities. Please try to complete two activities a week that will automatically be set once you have completed each activity. 

Mathletics 

I have set activities on Mathletics for you which will appear during the week.
