Good Morning

I hope you are all feeling wide awake and ready for your tasks.

For English, there is a short story linked to Christmas to read and some questions to answer. The answers are there for you too.

For maths there are a couple of activities. There is a link to an online finding gems activity and  a winter activity video, have a go at as many questions as you can.

There are also a few fun activities for you to do too.

I hope you have a lovely day and I look forward to seeing what you all get up to.

Miss Spooner

Choose one of the Christmas comprehensions to do, either 1 star, 2 star or 3 star. The answers are included.

Using the link below, you will become a gem collector. How many gems can you get home using the directions N E S W?

Click on the N for your compass. Plot your route. You can only use 10 straight lines and you must get home to win the gems. The first time I did it I collected the gems but didn't get home so lost them.

Let me know how you get on. Good luck!

Do you want to build a snowman?

Watch the video and try to solve the problems as you go along. You will need  a pencil and some paper.

Fun Activities

How about starting with drawing me a picture using 2paint in Purple Mash to show me what you think Dorey (our naughty elf) got up to over the weekend.

Remember you can show me on dojo what your elf has been doing.

Draw a snowman

Follow the instructions on the Powerpoint.

Afterwards how about trying to create your own instructions and send them to me to have a try.

Christmas Challenge of the Week

Build Santa's sleigh, it can be small or big.
